Day 1, Arrival Amman

Upon disembarking the craft, where you will meet our representative who will be holding a board sign of your name, he will lead you through the immigration for your FREE VISA and proceed to your private car, Transfer to hotel in Amman. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2, Amman / Jerash / Ajloun / Um Qais / Amman

Breakfast. Depart Amman to visit the Greco-Roman City of Jerash, also known as the city of the thousand columns. Jerash showcases the grandeur of Imperial Rome (and is sometimes referred to as the Pompeii of the East). It is considered one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World outside Italy. As the most pristine Decapolis City (meaning ten cities in Greek) in the modern world, Jerash’s prosperity can be admired in the colonnaded main street and lovely Oval Piazza. Visit the town of Ajloun with its fortress; one of the best-preserved examples of medieval Arab military architecture in the entire Middle East, which was once governed by Saladin. Enjoy the magnificent view into the Jordan Valley. Proceed to visit Um Qais, a city rich with black basalt ruins of the Hellenistic era in which it was known as Gadara, a hilltop site in the north-west corner of Jordan with grand views of the Golan Heights and Lake Tiberius (the Sea of Galilee). Um Qais is also famous for being one of the ten cities that belonged to the Decapolis. Return to Amman. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3, Amman City Tour (Roman theatre, the Citadel, Umayyad Palace.) / Dead Sea

Breakfast. Departure to visit the ruins of the Amman Roman theatre, the Citadel and the Umayyad Palace. The tour includes visits to the Archaeological and Folklore Museums. Free time for walking/shopping in the old down town area of the city. Transfer to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth located 395 meters below sea level. Float in its unique salt rich waters which make it nature’s natural spa. Free time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4, Dead Sea / Kerak / Petra

Breakfast. Morning departure to Mujib Reserves for Hiking Tour (Siq Trail). We will continue our journey to the city of Kerak, where we will visit the Crusader’s Castle, with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period, and get to know the architectural military brilliance of the Crusaders. Continue to Petra. Overnight. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5, Petra (full day visit)

Breakfast. We will start our journey to explore Petra, aptly described as the “rose-red city, half as old as time”. The ancient city was founded by the Nabateans 2000 years ago. Its massive architectural structure and its multicolored stones are an incredible attraction. The visit of the ancient Nabatean capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. Towards the end of the Siq, you will be spellbound by Petra’s most famous monument; the Treasury. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6, Petra / Beida / Wadi Rum

After breakfast proceed to Beida, also known as little Petra and the place where the Nabateans used to entertain their guests. Continue south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. 02 hrs. Jeep Tour inside the Wadi. Watch the most beautiful view while drinking a cup of traditional Bedouin tea. Transfer to the campsite inside the desert. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 7, Wadi Rum / Madaba St. George Greek Orthodox Church / Mount Nebo / Madaba

Breakfast. Visit the Christian Town of Madaba, which is known as ‘The City of Mosaics’. You will be visiting the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, where you will see the masterpiece of Madaba (a Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land that goes back to the 6th century, showing Jerusalem and other cities), you will also visit the Archaeological Park, which houses the remains of several Byzantine churches, including the amazing mosaics of the Church of the Virgin. The park complex includes a school for the restoration and conservation of ancient mosaics. We will then go to Mt. Nebo, which is considered to be one of the most important holy sites in Jordan, as it is believed to be the place where Moses climbed from the Valley of Moab, and from where God showed him the Promised Land, as well as Moses’ last resting place. It features ruins from the 4th to the 6th century with marvelous mosaics adorning the grounds of the church still visible. Continue to Madaba. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 , Madaba/ Departure (23 min (18.8 km)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for departure.
