About the Package:
Jordanian hospitality is world-renowned, especially among the Bedouin tribes, where traditions have been passed down through generations. If you’re looking to truly immerse yourself in the local culture and daily life of Jordan, this trip is a perfect match. Participate in authentic experiences from bread making to goat milking, all while exploring the traditions of different regions. Visit the northern city of Salt in the Balqa region to see how locals make Jameed (dried yogurt), bake traditional bread, and produce olive oil, which has been grown in the area for centuries. This trip is designed for those who want to live like a local and step into rural life.
Day 01: Airport / Amman
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport. Meet our representative who will assist you through immigration and lead you to your transport. Transfer to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.
No lunch / No dinner.
Day 02: Amman / Ajloun Nature Reserve (Soap House Trail) / Jerash / Amman
After breakfast, transfer north to Ajloun for the Soap House Trail Hike (6-7 km, 3 hours). Walk through thick woodlands of oak, pistachio, and oriental strawberry trees, and stop to view ancient ruins like a wine press. The trail takes you to the Soap House where local women produce pure olive oil soap. After your hike, visit the ancient Roman city of Jerash, one of Jordan’s best-preserved historical sites, before heading back to Amman.

Day 03: Amman / Taste of Salt City / Amman
Start your day with a drive to Salt City, about 45 minutes from Amman. Participate in the Zaatar making experience with local women farmers and learn to bake traditional Managiesh in an Arabic oven. Enjoy fresh bread and thyme with a herbal tea in a beautiful garden setting. Visit a local soap-making workshop, a cave farm with gazelles, and a Jameed-making experience where you can sample dairy products. End the day by experiencing a slice of Jordanian farmer life by making Saj bread, collecting eggs, milking goats, and enjoying a farm-to-table meal under ancient oak trees.

Day 04: Visit JR Vineyards / Winery
After breakfast, transfer to the JR Vineyards in the Mafraq Plateau for a half-day tour. Learn about Jordan’s unique volcanic terroir, viticulture, and food pairings. Enjoy a tasting of five award-winning wines paired with a cheese platter, and experience the rich flavors of this fertile region. End the day with dinner at a traditional restaurant in Amman.

Day 05: Amman City Tour / Iraq Al Amir Women Society / Amman Cooking Experience / Dead Sea
Begin your day with a visit to Amman’s Citadel and Roman Theater, followed by a trip to the Iraq Al Amir Women Society to watch local women produce handicrafts. Share a meal with them before heading to Bait Sitti restaurant for a hands-on cooking class where you will prepare your own dinner. Afterward, transfer to the Dead Sea for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Dead Sea – Relaxation Day
Enjoy a day of relaxation at the Dead Sea, floating in the salty waters and experiencing the therapeutic benefits of the natural minerals.

Day 07: Dead Sea / Queen Alia Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure. You must arrive at least three hours before your flight.
